Although Eidur Gudjohnsen has already passed a medical at West Ham United, it now looks probably that he will be signing for Tottenham Hotspur instead.
He will provide cover should, as expected, Roman Pavlyuchenko leave the club. Gudjohnsen, 31 and currently at Monaco is intelligent, has fast feet and experience at Barcelona and Chelsea and would have little problem forming partnerships with the remaining strikers at White Hart Lane.
