in Predictions

Hull City (19th) play Chelsea (1st) at the KC Stadium, 9 January 2010, 7:45pm.

GAME CALLED OFF

Chelsea begin the New Year without Didier Drogba (at the ACN) but welcome back Nicolas Anelka injured but in good form after two home wins.

Hull City’s Jimmy Bullard-induced recovery died with the same player’s injury and haven’t won in seven since beating Everton.

While Hull have been scoring the odd goal, they are hemorrhaging at the other end and even without their main striker or an goal-scoring Frank Lampard, Chelsea should win this match over a subdued Hull.

Best Bet – no clean sheet for either team.

First scorer – Nicolas Anelka.

Worth a punt – Stephen Hunt to score.

Prediction:

Hull City 1 – 2 Chelsea
