in Predictions

Stoke City (12th) play Fulham (9th) at The Britania Stadium, 5 January 2010, 7:45pm.

If it’s on.

Stoke are on something of a slide having not won in six matches, losing four and scoring just two.

Fulham, fantastic at home have won only once away from Craven Cottage.

Fulham barely score away from home and Stoke barely score at all. However we believe that both Roy Hodgson and Tony Pulis will see this match as a good opportunity to reverse such trends and the match will be attacking, open and entertaining – unless the weather intervenes like it did in the Aston Villa, Liverpool match or completely and cancels the game.

Best bet - Score draw.

First scorer - Bobby Zamora.

Practically guaranteed - Matthew Etherington or Damien Duff to get an assist.

Prediction:

Stoke City 2 – 2 Fulham

# 33:03 GOAL – Abdoulaye Faye :
# 33:03 Assist on the goal came from Matthew Etherington.

Probably should have added him to my Fantasy League team…

3-0 now. I think we overestimated Fulham’s defensive abilities. Incredible disparancy between their home and away performances.
